Buying a house is stressful, buying one in a foreign country is twice as stressful. Choosing the house is really the easiest part and closing the deal is absolutely intimidating… so many considerations and pitfalls to watch out for, so many details to deal with and so very many things that can and do go wrong. This is when having a good estate agent makes a HUGE difference… and Yury Di Pasquale not only made that difference for us, she went far beyond what is expected. She made the entire process fast, simple, easy, as cost efficient as possible, safe and most importantly stress free! Just listing how many things she took care of for us would fill an entire page. She is not only super efficient and resourceful (we saw all the houses we sent her links of plus some she suggested), she is also a very personable and lovely person. And everyone we spoke to in Merida knew of her and always assured us we were in excellent hands, her reputation in town is excellent and with good reason. Once the sale on our lovely colonial house was closed, she continued to help us with getting started in town. Fetching us at the airport, introducing us to people, helping us with contacts and even taking us shopping for plants and household items, she really goes the extra mile! We highly recommend her to anyone who wants a successful, hassle free, relaxed and enjoyable buying experience.
