Noche Blanca with Friends at SOHO Gallery
Stopped at one of the popular art Galleries in Merida named SOHO. Saw lots of friends all enjoying the night touring around the city’s cultural and artistic events that went on until 2 a.m.
As part of the wide range of cultural activities called Noche Blanca (White Night) the city of Merida will made available to locals and visitors free access to museums located in downtown from 8 PM on Saturday, July 20th to 2 AM on Sunday, July 21st.
As an additional attraction, in coordination with the CANIRAC Yucatan, restaurateurs will gave discounts to those who have visited a museum during that evening. The Noche Blanca is an event planned for the occasion of the opening of the exhibition of Rembrandt in the Olimpo Cultural Center in downtown Merida.
This program Noche Blanca also included the participation of more than 20 local art galleries, as well as artistic and musical performances that took place in the various parks and other points of the city such as the dancing on Calle 60, opposite the Cathedral, at 20:30 pm, and the street theater Noche de Leyendas on Calle 63, opposite to the Casa de Montejo at 9:30 PM.
